These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LinkSafe (the "Service"), operated by LinkSafe (the "Company", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

This is a template. Have counsel review before public launch.

1. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use LinkSafe. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

2. Acceptable use

No unlawful, infringing, or abusive content.
No attempts to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
No automated scraping or resale of LinkSafe features without written permission.

3. Your content

LinkSafe stores references to third-party links, titles, notes, and metadata that you provide. You retain all rights to your content. You grant LinkSafe a limited license to store, display, and process this content solely to operate the Service for you.

4. Public boards, profiles, and moderation

Content you mark public may be indexed by search engines and viewed by anyone with the URL until you unpublish it. Public content must comply with the acceptable-use rules above. We may remove or unpublish public content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, is unlawful, or endangers our users or the Service, and we may suspend accounts responsible for repeat violations. Non-public boards are not moderated by us and are visible only to you and users you explicitly invite.

5. Paid plans

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe. You may cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the current period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Downgrades and limits

If you exceed the limits of your plan after downgrading, you must remove content to fit within your new limits before you can add more.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that saved links will remain reachable or that AI enrichment will be accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LinkSafe's total liability arising from your use of the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless mandatory law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

12. DMCA and copyright

LinkSafe responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). To submit a notice, use our contact form (category "Other") and include:

identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
the LinkSafe URL (public board, profile, or item) where the material appears;
your name, address, telephone number, and email;
a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf;
your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-notices may be submitted the same way. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.
